TEAM UP brings the whole tea value chain together to accelerate change across the tea sector
TEAM UP is a conference organized by the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) and IDH. Since its inauguration in 2013, TEAM UP has quickly become a permanent and important fixture in the tea industry calendar. It’s the one opportunity in the year when the whole value chain can reflect together on how the sector is doing, learn from success and failure, discuss the difficult issues, and inspire each other to increase our impact.
Feedback from previous TEAM UPs
My two highlights are: collaboration; and the second one: collaboration! An industry-wide collaboration between packers, producers, NGOs, governments and actually everybody involved to create a more sustainable tea industry.
I really liked the interaction with very different kinds of stakeholders...The discussion about stakeholders and how they interact with each other feels really important. So you're not only talking about it, you're putting it into practice.
I've learned a number of things from TEAM UP, from the tea business itself, to climate change and human rights issues, and explored how we can add value across the supply chain.
