Janapher Nassali is the General Secretary at Uganda Horticulture, Industrial, Service Providers and Allied Workers Union (UHISPAWU). Her journey began as a flower picker on a farm, rising through the ranks to lead the union at just 25 years old. Despite initial challenges, Janepher has emerged as a formidable leader in Uganda’s flower industry, passionately advocating for safe spaces for women workers and championing gender equality and women’s rights within the industry.
