Andrea Cattaneo (PhD) is a Senior Economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and is leading the State of Food and Agriculture (SOFA), FAO’s flagship publication. Andrea has over 25 years of experience examining economic issues relating to development, food security and climate change. In recent years, his focus has been on migration, food loss and waste, resilience of food systems and rural transformation. In addition, Andrea actively contributes to scholarly discussions on global environmental challenges.
