Travel & Accommodation
We recommend that you make your travel arrangements as soon as possible as we recognise that Amsterdam will likely be busy in June.
The summit venue is centrally located near Amsterdam Central Station. There are several accommodation options along with the distance from the summit venue. Next to our summit venue you can find the Mövenpick Amsterdam Hotel. To book a room you can go directly to their website.
How to get to the venue
Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ can be reached in the following ways:
By train: a 15 minute-walk from the north side (side of the IJ river) of Amsterdam Central Station.
By car: 5 minutes from the A10 East ring road.
By tram: 3 minutes (line 26) from the front of Amsterdam Central Station.
Registration
Participation in the Summit is free of charge and by invitation only. We can host 2 guests per organisation and your reservation is confirmed by email. Without confirmation there is no access to the conference. The hosts reserve the right to reject registration once the venue capacity is reached.
When you arrive at Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ you will be welcomed by GIZ and IDH staff who will ask you to register for the Living Wage and Living Income Summit in the entrance hall at the ground level. Registration starts at 08:00. You will receive your name badge with all relevant information about the Summit.
After you have received your badge, you are welcome to go to the networking coffee to meet other participants before the conference starts.
