Prof. Dr. Thorun is the founder and managing director of the ConPolicy-Institute. He is a recognized expert in consumer policy and he advises the German Government, German State Ministries and the European Commission on consumer issues.

Hajar Yagkoubi
Next Generation Keynote Speaker, Co-founder Network 2100
Hajar works on enhancing youth participation, climate action and human rights work through her own company via public speaking, advocacy and consultancy. As part of Network 2100, Hajar also advocates for the inclusion of young people in (supervisory) boards of corporations. She is a bridge between the corporate world and her activistic-generation and advocates for ways in which firms can embody sustainability, climate action and a broad definition of prosperity. She studies International Business and is a former UN Youth Representative for the Netherlands.
Ewa Skotnicki
Senior Brand Communication Manager at Fairphone
Ewa has been working at Fairphone since the end of 2018 as Head of Brand. She has a passion for building brands and thereby bringing about meaningful change in society. She is a member of various boards and juries (SAN Accent, Dutch Sustainable Fashion Week and Sustainable Brand Index Netherlands).

Carole Maman
Chief Investment Officer of BIO, the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries
Carole Maman manages the investment team and supervises execution and monitoring of investments in financial institutions, enterprises, infrastructure and funds in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Carole has been an investment professional in development finance since 1999 first at the International Finance Corporation in Washington DC and then at BIO since 2003.
Chair of the Roadmap on Living Wages Steering Committee; Deputy Director at IDH
Sonia leads a team of professionals responsible for the aquaculture, flowers and plants, fruit and vegetables, juice, nuts and spices sectors and is responsible for the IDH living wage approach. She chairs/represents IDH in the Boards of the different sector and thematic initiatives with the aim of steering the industry towards the uptake of sustainable social and environmental practices.

Alison Tate, Director of Economic and Social Policy at the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC)
Alison leads the ITUC’s work on “Global Shifts and Just Transitions” which includes the industrial, social, political and economic transformation that is needed in order that people and the planet thrive.
Senior Innovation Manager, Better Jobs at IDH
Carla Romeu-Dalmau works towards achieving structural change to reduce poverty in supply chains. She holds a PhD on Agricultural Ecology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a MSc in Sustainability Studies and Ecological Economics from the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA). She has published twelve publications on agriculture, sustainability, ecosystem services and poverty.
