Senior Data Analytics Manager – Utrecht, The Netherlands.

We are thrilled to seek a new Senior Data Analytics Manager who is passionate about spearheading the development of IDH’s data infrastructure. In this role, you will ensure that data collected through Inclusive Business Analytics is analysed to generate insights, facilitating IDH into a learning organization with data-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the design, maintenance, and development of IDH Intelligence’s infrastructure, ensuring that data collected from our inclusive business analyses is properly stored, analyzable, and compliant with all data standards and GDPR requirements, while also managing and leading open-source assets.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
  • Lead the design and build of technical processes to provide the critical data that helps IDH to transform agricultural markets.
  • Manage key long term and short-term service provider contracts and relationships and managing an annual budget.
  • Recruit, train, develop and manage highly specialised employees.
  • Facilitate data-driven learning within as well as outside of IDH by ensuring the IDH Intelligence’s data infrastructure and data analytics capabilities are in place, well managed and capable for further growth.
  • Present the requirements for continuation to key stakeholders within IDH to secure their buy-in.
  • Raise IDH’s profile as a leader in data-informed decision-making by providing sector leadership and expertise.
  • Provide advice on the technical aspects of the FarmFit Insights Hub. Ensure it is up and functioning and regular releases and updates are done.
  • Build linkages with data from other S&I and IDH teams and ensure high level data quality and security.

  • Master’s level education with strong numeric/process orientated background
  • Excellent process and project management skills
  • Knowledge of broad range of technical topics (data storage, processing, analytics, GDPR)

  • Be able to make long-term decisions in situations with high ambiguity and lack of information.
  • Familiarity with potential use of AI for IDH
  • Has experience in data analysis/science/engineering and leading the development of systems.

We offer you.

A challenging, pivotal role within an impacting, international organisation – and:

  • A salary range between EUR 4,762 – 5,952 (excluding 8% holiday allowance) per month (based on a 40-hour work week), job level 18. The job level is evaluated based on IDH methodology; the successful candidate will be placed within the range depending on relevant work experience.
  • A full-time (40 hours) 1 year contract initially, with the intention to extend (as this is a permanent position).
